College of Dental Medicine
Accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, most recently in 2011, the college is committed to growing in its mission areas of teaching, research, and service. Its programs are designed to prepare successful oral health professionals for practice in public, private, or educational settings.
Among dental schools in the U.S., the CDM leads the way in patient-and family-centered care.* We possess that distinction and aim to build on it as we grow into the future.
In 2013, the College of Dental Medicine:
- Celebrated its 40th year of graduating dentists; 2,188 DMDs have earned their degrees here
- Educated 310 students total in all four classes – on the way to a goal of 400 total students in 2016
